Food Pantry

Come in on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month from 2-5 pm

Through donations, grants, and the assistance of an incredible crew of volunteers we have ample food, including fresh produce, to provide during each of our two monthly distributions.

Throughout 2025, we served food for over 4,100 neighbors.

Family Clothing Center

The Family Clothing Center will be open on Tuesdays  from 2-5 pm and Saturdays from 10 am - 1 pm.

We will accept clothing donations, in person, on the days we are open. We appreciate your support and cooperation.

School Backpack Program

The Backpack Program discreetly provides week-end meals to 20% of Johnsburg Central School Children.

Each bag contains two breakfast, two lunch, and three dinner items, along with snacks, fresh fruit, and vegetables. 6th grade student volunteers help pack the items for distribution.

Holiday Toy Giveaway

Community donations of new unwrapped toys for families of the Johnsburg School District allows parents and grandparents to shop at no cost for their kids and grandchildren, ages newborn to 14 years.

Kids Summer Meals Program

Backpack program shelves 1.jpg

The Kids Summer Meals Program provides 5 breakfast, lunch, and snack items along with fresh fruit, vegetables, and Stewarts milk and egg cards per week.

 

Funding for this program comes from grants from the Community Fund for the Gore Mountain Region, the Cloudsplitter Foundation, and donations from people like you!

Personal Care Pantry

Wood Toothbrushes

Our Personal Care Pantry continues to offer items not covered by SNAP, such as toilet tissue, soap, shampoo, dental care products, feminine and incontinent care items to Food Pantry recipients during regular Food Pantry hours. 

 

North Creek Farmers Market

Join us on Thursdays from 2 to 5:30 PM at Riverfront Park in North Creek, June through September, where you can find an assortment of veggies, baked goods, crafts, art, music, and neighbors!

Volunteer Opportunities

The Adirondack Community Outreach Center is led by its Executor Director and a group of dedicated volunteers. With all of the services offered, additional volunteers are always needed and welcomed.
